Dublin’s Story

In October we lost our first Vizsla, Gizmo. We told ourselves we were not going to put ourselves through that pain again. Not long after that, my husband went on to the VCLI rescue website and spoke with Stephanie Fischer. Not dealing well with the loss and loneliness, we decided we needed another dog.

When we were told about Dublin and his being 5 years old, we said no, due to his age. Stephanie then called us about another Vizsla and mentioned Dublin again. We met him, and as they say, the rest is history. He has brought so much joy into our lives. Between playing ball (which he LOVES), laying upside down chewing and holding his bones (which cracks us up) to just being snuggled right up against us at night, we couldn’t imagine him not in our life. Not a day goes by that we don’t say “He’s such a good boy, we couldn’t be happier”.
